At The Friendship Bench, part of our goal is to raise awareness of youth and teen mental health issues that can lead to suicide, including stress, anxiety, and depression, and to help remove the stigma around it.

In addition to the various programs we will be putting together and working on with educational organizations, we want to share stories of hope and inspiration, as well as provide content that shows you’re not alone, and it’s okay to reach out for help.

To that end, we want to share your stories, and how you’ve managed to overcome your own battle with mental health issues.

  • It can be a personal story
  • It can be about a wonderful organization that helped
  • It can be about what schools and colleges are doing in your area
  • It can be things that make you happy, and may help others when they’re down
